Electret microphone amplifier with TLV1018

Made in a tiny capsule the electret microphone amplifier can be used in various audio applications where space is critical.
The integrated circuit electret microphone preamplifier is a TLV1018 type manufactured by Texas Instruments and require very few components and is ideal for applications that are powered by batteries.
Circuit can be supplied with a DC voltage between 1.7 and 5 volts, with a fixed gain of 15 and 25 dB.
TLV1018 allows for a dramatic reduction in supply current compared to a JFET-equipped electret microphone .
