KA2411 high power bicycle horn project
A very simple high power bicycle horn electronic project can be designed using this circuit diagram that is based on the KA2411 integrated circuit which is specially designed for ring tones applications. This bicycle horn electronic project can be powered using the dynamo power supply and does not require batteries .
The part of the circuit comprising diodes D1 and D2 and C1 and C2 capacitors forms a half wave voltage doubler circuit . The output of the voltage is fed to C3 capacitor via R1 resistor. The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the KA2411 circuit is 28 volts . ZD1 zenner diode is used in circuit for protection and regulation . The dual tone output signal from pin 8 of the IC is fed to the primary of the transformer via C6 capacitor .
The loudspeaker can be replaced by a piezoceramic element . In this case you must remove the transformer, C6 capacitor and loudspeaker. The piezoceramic element must be connected to the circuit at pins 5 and 8 trough a 1k resistor .
