Electronic schematic circuit presented in this page is audio power amplifier based on the LM380 designed for consumer applications. With few external components and many features like : wide supply voltage range , 150kΩ input impedance , low distortion , 1.3A current capability the LM830 can be used in many applications like : intercoms, alarms, ultrasonic drivers, TV sound systems, AM-FM radio and others . The output power for this LM380 power audio amplifier circuit is around 2 watts in single way on a 8 ohms load impedance . If we need more power than 2 watts we can connect two LM380 circuits in bridge mode like in figure below . For this Lm380 audio power amplifier circuit we need to use a 18 volts dc power supply .
