Using LM380 and few external components can be designed a simple audio amplifier that has many features like : wide supply voltage range , 150kΩ input impedance , low distortion , 1.3A current capability .The LM830 can be used in many applications like : intercoms, alarms, ultrasonic drivers, TV sound systems, AM-FM radio and others .

The output power for this LM380 power audio amplifier circuit is around 2 watts in single way on a 8 ohms load impedance .
If we need more power than 2 watts we can connect two circuits in bridge mode like in figure below .
For this audio power amplifier circuit we need to use a 18 volts dc power supply .
