LM383 audio power amplifier

This LM383 audio power amplifier electronic project can deliver a maximum output power of 7 watts on a 4 ohms load impedance . The LM383 supports a wide input voltage range and has a high current capability (3.5A) that enables the device to drive low impedance loads with low distortion.

The LM383 audio IC amplifier has many integrated features like  : high peak current capability (3.5A) , externally programmable gain , wide supply voltage range (5V±20V) , high input impedance , low noise , AC short circuit protected .
A 0.2 uF capacitor in series with a 1 ohm resistor should be placed as close as possible to pins 3 and 4 for circuit stability .
This audio amplifier IC must be mounted on a small heatsink for temperature dissipating .
The typically power supply for this audio amplifier must deliver around 14,4 volts DC .
