LM3886 High-Performance 68W Audio Power Amplifier
The LM3886 audio amplifier is capable of delivering 68W of continuous average power to a 4ohms load and 38W into 8ohms with 0.1% THD+N from 20Hz–20kHz.
The performance of the LM3886, utilizing its Self Peak InstantaneousTemperature (°Ke) (SPiKe™) protection circuitry, which means that these parts are completely safeguarded at the output against overvoltage, undervoltage, overloads, including shorts to the supplies, thermal runaway, and instantaneous temperature peaks.
The LM3886 maintains a good S/N (signal-to-noise) Ratio of above 92 dB .
The LM3886 amplifier can be used in applications like : Self-powered speakers , Surround-sound amplifiers , High-end stereo TVs and others audio applications .

22uF capacitor provides the gain curve start from about 7 Hz so it filters unwanted low frequencies .
If we use a torroidal transformer we need an center trapped 2x18 volts for 4 ohms load impedance or 2x24 volts for 8 ohms load .
