This schematic circuit is based on the LM4682 fully integrated audio power amplifier IC which can be used in many applications like televisions , multimedia monitors , displays and many other applications .
The LM4682 is a stereo CLASS D Audio Power Amplifier which offer stereo headphone  output and  DC volume control .The LM4682 can deliver a 10 W maximum output power on a 8 ohms load with THD+N = 10%, VDD = 14V and 7W with low distortion ( less than 1%) .

The headphone amplifier integrated in LM4682 also features delivers 60mW into a 32Ω headset with less than 0.5% THD.The LM4682’s DC volume control has a +30dB to –48dB range when speakers are driven and a range of +13dB to –65dB when headphones are connected.
This audio amplifier has many features like thermal shutdown protection , output current limiting function  ( for outputs short circuit protection ) ,external heatsink not required , click and pop reduction circuitry , micropower shutdown mode and many other  .
For this audio amplifier we can use a power supply with output voltage between 8.5 volts an 15 volts but the typical voltage is 12 volts , so don’t use the minimum or the maximum voltage accepted by the circuit .
