Linear Technology introduces the LT3980 monolithic buck switching regulator with high efficiency and high input voltage . The LT3980 has an adjustable frequency from 100kHz to 2.4MHz and accepts input voltages up to 58V . The transient voltage of the LT3980 is around 80 volts . The maximum output current which can be delivered by the LT3980 monolithic buck switching regulator is around 2 Amps .
The LT3980 monolithic buck switching regulator is designed in Small 16-Pin Thermally Enhanced MSOP and DFN packages and includes short-circuit and input overvoltage protection , thermal protection and other features .
Other features integrated in the LT3980 package are 200mΩ switch , Schottky diode and the necessary oscillator, control, and logic circuitry.
