LTC3788-1 controller

The LTC3788-1 designed by Linear Technology is a high performance 2-phase dual synchronous boost converter controller that drives all N-channel power MOSFETs.

LTCR3788-1 supports a wide input voltage range from 4.5 to 38 volts and can operate down to 2.5 volts after start-up .

The LTC3788-1 can deliver up to 60 volts output voltage and has a high precision 1.2 volts reference voltage (±1% ) .

LTC3788 has a programmable fixed frequency which can be programmed from 50khz up to 900 khz and a phase-lockable frequency range about of 75kHz to 850kHz .

The LTC3788 also has a low quiescent current ( 125 uA ) and low shut down current <8uA .

As you can see in this typical application circuit of this LTC3788-1 this power supply circuit can deliver 12 volts at 5 amps and 24 volts 3 amps .

The LTC3788 also offers high performance requiring few external components making it ideal for low cost high efficiency power applications and can be used in : military , medical a, automotive or industrial applications .
