Infrared audio receiver electronic project

Using electronic diagram below can be made an infrared audio receiver which can make a wireless connection between two devices.
The signal is transmitted to the infrared LED from the transmitter. Signal received is transformed into a rectangular wave in which audio data are modulated by pulse width. The signal obtained after amplification and filtering must be integrated only to restore the original audio information.
SL486 integrated circuit is integrated receiver containing an amplifier circuit and a controlled filter. The infrared signal received by diode D1 is transmitted to the integrated circuit input.
IC2 circuit amplifies the signal to an appropriate level to be heard in the headset.
In the basic configuration, the receiver is protected against ambient light radiation, so the audio signal received is very noisy (which can be avoided by protecting the photodiode from ambient light). If diode is mounted in front of a lens, remote operation of circuit can be increased up to 20-50m and background noise can be reduced.
