Simple light detector circuit project

This circuit is a very simple light detector circuit which use few external components  . The light detector circuit is based on a 741 operational amplifier and a LDR (Light Dependent Resistors) which is used to sense the light intensity . When the intensity of the light is low the resistance of the LDR is high and the voltage applied to the inverting input of the 741 operational amplifier is low .The reference voltage at the noninverting input of the 741 is set via R2 so that the comparator switches from low to high when the light falling on the LDR is reduced.

This light detector sense device can be used to turn on the light when the intensity of ambient light is too low or in other devices where is require a light sensor .
For this light detector sensor circuit we need a 9V DC power supply .
