LTC3859 DC DC switching regulator IC

The LTC3859 is a high performance triple output synchronous DC DC switching regulator controller that drives all N-channel power MOSFET stages.
Constant frequency current mode architecture allows a phase-lockable switching frequency from 75kHz up to 850kHz. The LTC3859 DC DC switching regulator controller operates over a wide input voltage from 4.5V to 38V .
All three channels of the LTC3859 can be independently shut down using the RUN1, RUN2 and RUN3 pins ( by pulling any of these pins below 1.2V shuts down the main control loop for that channel) .

The main features of the LTC3859 DC DC switching regulator controller are : dual buck plus single boost synchronous controllers , outputs remain in regulation through cold crank down to 2.5V , low operating IQ: 55μA , wide bias input voltage range , buck output voltage range: 0.8V ≤ VOUT ≤ 24V , boost output voltage up to 60V , RSENSE or DCR current sensing , 100% duty cycle for boost synchronous MOSFET , phase-lockable frequency (75kHz to 850kHz) , programmable fixed frequency (50kHz to 900kHz) ,adjustable output voltage ,low shutdown current .
This regulator can be used in applications like : automotive systems , battery operated digital devices , distributed DC power systems , etc .
The design of a DC power supply circuit using this regulator ic is not complicated ( if you take a look in the manufacturer datasheet ), requiring a small number of external components . As you can see in this application circuit you can obtain a multi channel DC power supply that can provide different output voltage and which support different maximum output current .
